Knowing Jesus Christ and his love for every person around the world, we can’t help but do something to share his love with people outside our church in concrete, tangible ways. This involves helping them get to know Jesus, as well as meeting other kinds of human needs, because God cares about every part of our lives (Matthew 10:29-31).

As a church, The Springs devotes a large portion of its energy and resources to a few specific mission pursuits and partnerships, in order to have a deeper impact in those areas. If you’d like to get involved in any of these missions or would like more information, please let us know!

Honduras &
Heart 2 Heart Ministries

The Springs has a long-standing partnership with Iglesia Amor Viviente, a church in Moroceli, Honduras. In addition to mutual ministry encouragement between our churches, The Springs helped start Heart 2 Heart Ministries, a feeding center operating inside of Iglesia Amor Viviente that provides food to children in the local area 3 times each week. We continue to fund this feeding center. We also take a large group from The Springs to visit our sister church once a year, offering our hands for construction projects or whatever else might be needed.

ARC Partnership

The Springs is a member of the Association of Related Churches (ARC), a church planters’ and church leaders’ support network that has helped plant several hundred churches since its inception in 2000. ARC and The Springs share the vision that church services and church communities should be life-giving, and The Springs is proud to be a member and partner in ARC’s far-reaching mission.

Jay Parks, Church Planter

We pray for and financially support Jay Parks–a church planter from Mississippi–and his family as they lead the seedling New Life Church in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. After numerous family vacations to Hawaii, Jay and his wife April were struck by the spiritual confusion in the people they met, and felt called to shine a beacon of hope and clarity on the islands through the message of Jesus Christ. The couple moved to Hawaii in March of 2015 as church planters supported by the Southern Baptist Convention, and they are building a life in Kailua-Kona with their children, Jackson and Mollie. New Life Church began holding worship services in March of 2016.

Food Pantry

Our Food Pantry is open at both campuses once a month to serve our local communities. Items needed include rice, canned tuna, canned chicken, peanut butter, jelly, crackers, and canned fruit. You can also designate a donation to our Food Pantry here. Interested in serving at our Food Pantry? Contact us at: [email protected]

Fieldhouse for the Homeless

The Fieldhouse is a turning point, a central source of life-changing care. Located in Hattiesburg, their goal is to make homelessness a season of life, not a way of life. We regularly provide meals and other needed supplies to this ministry. If you'd like to help with this ministry, contact us at inf[email protected].
